We own, create, and manage many different types of childcare settings, from nurseries to mobile crèches and kids clubs. We’ve brought our child care and practical experience together with the world leading educational expertise of PearsonPrimary to create 'The Learning Factor’ Maths and English tuition centre for children aged 4-11 years old. We need you to join our team as a Deputy Manager. We launched our first centre in Croydon in 2016, and this centre in June of this year at the Asda Supercentre, a fantastic location in the heart of Eastlands. The salary for this role is up to £22K. We’re interested in motivational candidates who have a background in management or teaching and have a passion for children’s academic development. While you’ll be leading a team of tutors, we’re also looking for someone with local knowledge and business sense. Working with the Marketing Team at Head Office you’ll be making sure everyone in Manchester has heard about The Learning Factor using standard and unique avenues. Responsibilities * Lead by example within a team be the face of The Learning Factor and represent the brand. * Offer the best Maths and English tuition for children aged 4-11 years old in the local area * Awareness of the broader commercial environment reflecting on previous achievements and formulate growth plans as a team. * Create new and exciting ways to retain members and engage with families in the area. Building a new marketing strategy or finding an alternative location for outreach. * Train and retain a fantastic team of loyal tutors with a focus on developing the future management team. * We are a company that always welcomes new ideas! Qualifications and experience * Educated to degree level * GCSE Grade B (or equivalent) in Maths and English * Management experience and where possible - experience working in a school environment.
