Ages of children: 2-3 years We are currently working with a nursery setting in Hook, Hampshire who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our team in Hook as a full time Toddler Suite Leader. This is a full time role working 41 hours a week. You need to hold a level 3 childcare qualification and have great EYFS knowledge. Your role will include: - Being responsible for the smooth running of the room and ensuring that you and your team maintain and provide a high level of quality and care for children. -Remaining vigilant with safeguarding and Health and Safety policies. - Manage the daily planning and effective delivery of exciting and stimulating activities in your specified room. -Be a friendly and welcoming key person to your key children as well as communicate well with parents and carers to ensure you maintain Oaklea House's high standards of parent partnership. This includes maintaining electronic learning journey's. -Be a positive mentor for any apprentice’s in your room, ensuring that they are guided appropriately and provide support when needed. Support and supervise the team within the room. -Have an excellent knowledge of policies, procedures and an understanding of the EYFS. -Work closely with other Room Leaders within the setting as well as management to ensure a consistent approach to the implementation of the EYFS framework across the setting.
