Ages of children: 0-2 years A Large Nursery in Southampton are currently looking for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their expanding team of child carers. They are looking for a Nursery Nurse who has a genuine enthusiasm for childcare, who can motivate themselves and their team, can take a flexible approach to work and can add value to a team and take responsibility when required. You will also have good knowledge of the EYFS be able to provide an engaging and stimulating environment that supports children learning and development. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: -Liaise on a daily basis/regular basis with the supporting member of the management team and Senior Nursery Nurse to ensure that routines are planned and delivered effectively. -Ensure that the care, learning through play, physical and emotional welfare and the Health and Safety of the children remain the highest priority at all times. Reporting areas of concern as necessary. -Ensure that the development of each child is recognised, recorded and shared appropriately with parents and colleagues. -To plan a diverse curriculum for your Key children based on their individual needs that utilises the resources available on site. To involve the wider team in all aspects of planning, to include The Early Years Foundation Stage meeting the Every Child Matters outcomes, as required by Ofsted. Training and progression is on offer for successful candidates. This is a full time job, Monday to Friday . Salary is £14,000 to £16,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
