To help ensure the effective daily management of the nursery. Ensure the safety, security and well being of all the children registered with the nursery. Ensure that all agreed Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times. To ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members. Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow, Child Protection Procedures. Work with the Childcare team to evaluate the quality of childcare and education within the setting and to identify and address areas needing development.
