Ages of children: 0- 5 years G3: We are currently recruiting for a lovely well established nursery located in the city centre. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either looking for the next step in their chosen career or somebody looking for new challenges. This is a large setting which can cater for up to 100 children when at full capacity. You will be joining a well established team and be expected to lead by example. The successful applicant will oversee the operation of the nursery to the highest standards, ensuring the best possible environment and care are provided for babies and children. The manager will contribute to the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and development of the nursery. Your duties will include promoting high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors. You will also be required to set and implement objectives and policies for the nursery and to order and maintain equipment and resources in the nursery. You will also be accountable and responsible for the day-to-day assistance directly relating to the nursery and to ensure the Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence is promoted within the nursery, and the principles adhered to.
