We are currently recruiting for an experienced nursery manager to work at one of our settings in Edgware. Experience in managing a nursery and leading a staff team to deliver excellent standards. As a nursery manager you can expect a competitive salary, excellent training and development as well as working in a caring and passionate setting. This role is full time working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 50 weeks per year. We offer a competitive salary £29,000 - £34,000 per annum depending on experience (other benefits include yearly performance bonuses, private health care, childcare discounts for your child and a holiday loyalty scheme). The suitable candidate will need: a minimum of two years’ Early Years Education and Childcare qualification at level 3 or above Full understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Experience of leading staff teams and the overall day to day running of a nursery Track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Paediatric First Aid Have a sense of humour and focus on the FUN of children's learning Professional Skills: * To work alongside senior management in achieving outstanding childcare * Organisational skills with the ability to work towards targets and deadlines * To manage the budget and occupancy of the nursery * To lead the team and support in planning and looking at reflective practice * To maintain high standards of care and consistent environments for children * To be flexible with regards to working hours to meet the needs of the setting * Create an environment for the staff team where they feel supported and valued * Be able to inspire the team through hands on role modelling * The ability to form caring and trusting relationships with staff, children and families. * To ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times This is an excellent opportunity to work for a professional childcare provider where further professional development and career progression is available.
