You would bed working with the 50 children registered in the pre-school room (but this is an 80 place setting) alongside with the operations manager with a staff team of 10. Salary ranging from £21,000 - £24,000 per annum. Responsibilities include: - Assuring the pre-school runs efficiently and providing a high level of care and service - Communicating with carers and parents - Planning projects and activities with children - Mentoring and coach staff - Taking an active role within the company's Training School events for external professionals Essential criteria: - Great passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS - A minimum of your level 3 in childcare - Excellent communication skills - Confidence in leading a team - Willingness/desire to learn about the Reggio Emilia approach - Minimum of two years experience and previous experience leading a team of 5+ About the setting: It is a Reggio Emilia inspired nursery and farm school including artists, art studios and wonderful outdoor facilities.
