Qualified Nursery Nurse wanted for Tinies York. This is a full-time permanent role, with 40 hours over 4 days. Role Purpose/ Key Objectives * To work as part of a team in a child centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating way ensuring their individual needs are met within the group setting. * To be familiar with and act according to, Safeguarding guidelines as set down by the local safeguarding board or Social Services. * Deliver and uphold the Tinies Vision & Mission on an ongoing basis. * Provide support to their Line Manager on a daily basis. * To be aware of Health and Safety issues in the setting. * Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the setting. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities * Be a reliable member of the team working cooperatively and with flexibility. * To ensure regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress. * Supervise children at play indoor and outdoor and at meal times to ensure safety. * Work with the team to ensure that children’s work is displayed effectively. * Ensure that any food served is monitored and we conform to Food Safety regulations. * Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework. * To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other staff of any other relevant informatio * Maintain children’s records inclusive of observations and their next steps. * Responsibility for accuracy of daily registers. Essential : * NNEB, NVQ2, NVQ3, BTEC or other appropriate qualification * Previous experience of working with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
