Ages of children: 0-5 A nursery in the West End of Glasgow are recruiting for a senior nursery nurse in the baby room. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the baby room and will be expected to operate within the policies and procedures of the nursery. Applicants must have some supervisory experience in implementing the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre Birth to Three. You must have have worked within a baby setting and display a sound knowledge of child development. Applicants must be motivated and enthusiastic to take on this nursery challenge. Qualifications are required i.e. either an H.N.C, NNEB or SVQ level 3 in Childcare. Having, or working towards, a PDA in Childhood Studies or SVQ4 would be an advantage. Applicants will be required to be a member of the PVG scheme and hold registration with SSSC. You will be required to work 40 hours per week. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
