Ages of children: 0-5years A lovely nursery are currently looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join their small setting in Hackney. The role is currently on a term time only, part time basis working 8.30am-12.30pm but hours are scheduled to increase as the number of children attending the nursery grows. You will need - to be qualified to Level 3 or above in child care - have a least 2 years managerial experience - oversee the planning completed by staff to ensure they are preparing and supervising suitable, age appropriate activities for children within their rooms. - Ensure the nursery complies to health and safety regulations and to Ofsted, EYFS and Safeguarding guidelines. - Ensure all staff follow guidelines and procedures to ensure efficient operation in line with Ofsted requirements - Be responsible for promoting the nursery to ensure it is full to capacity. - Manage staff in the nursery, including overseeing performance, conduct and absence issues and carrying out appraisals.
