Ages of children: 3 months to 4 years Tinies are working with a few nurseries in the Hertford area of Hertfordshire to help supply extra staff to them when they are needing cover. Cover can be provided for various reason such as sickness of nursery staff, annual leave or general shortage of staff. Ideally you will have a childcare qualification of level 2 or above but as long as you have good experience and references that we can check, this is not essential. When working in the nurseries you are expected to become a member of their team for the day. To be helpful in setting up activities, encouraging children to join in and engaging them so that they are exploring all learning opportunities in a safe environment. You will work under the supervision of the permanent nursery staff and they will provide support in directing you throughout the day. Salary: £8 gross per hour (slightly variable dependent on qualification and experience). Typical working hours are 8am to 6pm. We are looking for temp staff who can work 2,3, 4 or 5 days each week. These days do not have to be the same each week and we will take your availability on a week by week basis. It is a great opportunity to earn extra pennies around any other commitments you may have.
