Ages of children: 0 to 5 years This award winning company are currently recruiting for a new, dynamic Nursery Manager for their 44 place setting in Ellesmere Port to cover a maternity leave post, however this job may become permanent. We are looking for a flexible, approachable, self motivated manager with excellent communication skills who has sound Early Years knowledge and great organisational skills. The role will include daily management of the setting in accordance with company ethos and policies, OFSTED and any other relevant legislation. This requires the successful post holder to: Deliver and uphold the Tinies Vision & Mission on an ongoing basis Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the setting. Provide leadership and day-to-day management for all staff. Recruitment, management, training and discipline of all staff. Responsibility for all Health and Safety issues ensuring that the Health and Safety Policy is complied with at all times. To escalate any health and safety issues to the relevant Health and Safety Manager. Monitor the day to day financial operations within the setting to meet occupancy and financial objectives. You will need to be familiar with and act according to Child Protection guidelines as set down by the local Safeguarding board or Social Services. To apply you will need at least three years management experience, a degree in Early Years, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training as well as a Food Hygiene certificate.
