I have a client who runs a very busy Montessori day nursery in Harlow, Essex that is looking for a full time Room Leader for the 2-3's room. This nursery has an “Outstanding” Ofsted rating and is relocating early next year into a new building which will hold 90 children. The nursery is open between 7:30am – 6:30pm and you will work a 40 hour week on a shift pattern between those hours of either 7:30am - 4pm or 9am - 6pm. The ideal candidate will be level 3 qualified or equivalent and be looking to train upwards to level 4 which the nursery will pay for. The key purposes of the role are as follows:- - Be expected to provide high quality standards of the children’s physical, emotional and intellectual care. Be responsible for developing and implementing activities in line with the requirements of the EYFS. - To implement the daily routine in order to maintain the smooth running of the room. - Liaise with parents, staff, and other professionals. - Work to the nurseries policies having due regard for Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection and Confidentiality. - To give support to other colleagues within the nursery.
