They are looking to recruit a Head of Room for their preschool environment who holds either a qualification in Early Years Professional status or Early Years Teaching status. The role ideally would start at the beginning of September so that they can be involved in the set up of the new rooms and areas that the children will be using. This is an exciting role for someone as you would have the opportunity to put your stamp on the nursery and work closely with the manager to create what will be a blank canvas into a thriving busy nursery. Role Expectations: To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery. To give support to other team members throughout the nursery. To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop. To build and maintain strong partnerships with parents. To work within the requirements set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage – setting the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five The role will be full time- 40 hours a week and will be working on a rota basis as the nursery will be open from 7:30am-6:30pm. The nursery offers 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays with a week off extra at Christmas during the closed period.
