Ages of children: 18 months to 2.5 years Tinies are working with a Day Nursery in Reading to recruit for a Room Leader. The position is to work with the children aged approx 18 months to 2.5 years old. The right candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of the EYFS and feel confident in helping to train staff and ensure that those under your supervision are completing learning journeys, observations and planning to a high standard. As room leader you will be expected to ensure that your room is running well on a day to day basis and ensure that you have been following all policies and procedures well and have a high standard of practice. The Nursery is open from 7am to 7pm and you will be working shifts based around a 40 hour week. Any overtime worked is paid. Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus bank holidays. Nursery is closed for 1 week over Christmas. The position is ideally to start ASAP but any notice needed can be taken in to account. Salary can be negotiated for the right person.
