Ages of children: Pre-School A private day nursery in St Albans are recruiting for a level 3 qualified nursery nurse to be a room leader. The successful candidate will have previous room leader experience in order to be confident in this role before taking on the extra responsibility of being third in charge. The position will be room based but the successful candidate will be required to assist the manager and deputy in the daily running of the nursery, organisation of the staff and promotion of the nursery including increasing occupancy. The candidate will be a minimum level 3 qualified and have carried out a similar role before. You will be responsible for a team of four or five staff and ensure they are developed and progressed within their roles. You must have a passion for working with children, and not be phased by working in a room of 30 to 40 children at any one time.
