Number of children: 2 I have a family living in Chigwell, Essex looking for a 4 day full time nanny to care for a girl aged 7 and a boy aged 4 years old to start asap. The working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and the hours are from 7:00am to 6:30pm. You will be doing school runs so will need to have a clean driving licence and your own car and ideally be Ofsted registered or willing to become registered. You will also need to have previous sole charge nanny experience. The girl is at full time school and the boy attends nursery until 12:30pm every day but will be starting school from this September. Once both children are at school the role will revert to a nanny/housekeeper role which will include getting the children ready for school, breakfasts and doing the school run. During the day the duties will be the nursery duties of washing and ironing the children’s laundry, changing their bedding, keeping their bedrooms, playroom and communal areas clean and tidy at all times and the preparation and provision of healthy balanced snacks and meals. The family are not requesting any further housework outside of the children’s nursery duties. You will pick the children up from school and take them to any after school clubs or activities and once home ensure that all homework is completed, provide a meal and bath and prepare them for bed. You will need to be organised, nurturing, kind, loving and fun but also firm and authoritative. The family are looking for someone who is interested in a long term position for a few years and will be a team player who will become a part of the family.
