The days are Monday to Friday and the core hours are 7.30am to 6.30pm with flexibility. The role is to support a family where sadly Dad passed away a few years ago and Mum is recovering from a lengthy illness. She will be at home so a nanny must be comfortable working in a shared care environment. There will be times when nanny will need to step into a proxy parent role and the higher live in salary does reflect this. The family would love a nanny with a great sense of humour, a genuine love of working with children, and someone who is empathetic and confident when stepping into mum shoes. The Mum has a really flexible attitude and is happy for nanny to take some time during the day to herself. The house is located conveniently a short walk from the centre of the village. The duties will include all aspects of the children's care, school runs, nursery duties and overseeing the house, preparing meals and most importantly be sensitive to the situation and provide the children with lots of reassurance and cuddles. The emphasis is very much on the children's wellbeing above anything else. A driver is required and there is a duty car available ( Audi Q7). The position is to start ASAP. Salary is up to £26k gross per annum, The live in accommodation is a double room with ensuite.
