Start date: 01/09/2016 Number of children: 2 A family living in South Woodford, Essex are looking for a part time nanny to care for their 2 children, a boy aged 4 and a girl aged 9 to start in September. The working days are 4 days per week but these are not always the same days every week and the hours are either full days of 8am to 6pm or school run hours of 8am to 9am and then 3pm to 6pm. The family would prefer the school run hours but realise this might prove hard to find so are prepared to offer full days. The duties will include all nursery duties of the children’s laundry, changing their bedding, preparing and providing healthy balanced snacks and meals as well as keeping their rooms and all communal areas of the house clean and tidy at all times. The boy has mobility issues and cannot stand or walk independently and has to be carried or picked up frequently so the family do require a physically fit nanny. The boy will start attending school this September which is a short walk away and will have to be taken in his buggy due to his lack of mobility so you will not need a car for this role. During the school day you will be required to do all of the duties concerning the children and some very light housekeeping work. The parents are happy to consider child carers that have worked previously as a nanny or in a nursery setting and you will need to be Ofsted registered or willing to become registered.
